David Lang is the General Counsel of Caturus and has served as the General Counsel and Chief Commercial Officer at Commonwealth LNG, a subsidiary of Caturus that is developing a 9.5 million tonne per annum LNG export facility on the US Gulf Coast near Cameron, Louisiana. David leads the legal team at Caturus and has led the marketing and commercialization efforts for Commonwealth LNG, with the goal of delivering clean-burning natural gas to world markets. David has extensive experience in the LNG sector, developing LNG projects from wellhead to burner tip, as well as assisting with the development, acquisition and sale of a variety of energy assets. Prior to his role at Caturus, David was a partner at King & Spalding and worked as a reservoir engineer at ExxonMobil prior to law school. David received his BS in Mechanical Engineering and JD from the University of Texas.
