Francis is the global head of Generating Fuels and Power pricing at S&P Global Commodity Insights, leading a team of market reporters producing daily price assessments and market commentary, across natural gas, coal, nuclear and power markets. Joining Platts in 2006 with a focus on steel and raw materials, he was instrumental in the development of their iron ore, ferrous scrap and coking coal price benchmarks. Working for many years in Platts price group, Francis has been involved in benchmark development and market reporting across commodities, including Crude Oil and LNG.
